We are a group of four sisters who have been singing together since we
were little.We have been singing for many years, primarily at weddings and Masses. We have been asked many times to record, but the whole project appeared to be such a huge, expensive undertaking that we kept putting it off. Finally, one day after singing for a Mass in our parish, a woman handed us a twenty-dollar bill and said, "Here, this is the beginning of a CD fund for you girls. You need to record." Read more...

We are ASCENT. We are four sisters who grew up in Iron Mountain, Michigan, with our parents and our two brothers, Walter and Joseph. We attended Kingsford High School and are graduates of Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. After college, we each ended up moving to the Ann Arbor area, where we currently live and teach.
